Clinical Herbalist, Wholistic Therapist, Reiki Master: Amanda Proznik

Amanda has been studying people since early childhood. It began with an early interest in personality-based Astrology when she was a young girl, which blossomed into a passion once adolescence was attained. Her keen interest in people and their associated astrological traits and tendencies developed her interest in therapies and herbal practices that helped to balance and soothe inflamed minds and bodies. From the age of 15 onward, Amanda faced various serious blocks in her own health that she successfully overcame with the use of herbal remedies and alternative therapies, including Reiki and Reflexology. This period in her life further strengthened her belief in the effectiveness of herbs and therapies as natural remedies for health.

At the age of 16, while on an exchange program in Quebec, she was trained in the gentle art of Reiki, and upon her return began providing treatments to her peers and locals in her community. Once finished high school she traveled to Quebec to pursue her education in Reiki, and later moved to Calgary, AB to study with professional Astrologer, Paul Hewitt. During that time she also studied with professional Iridologist, Georgina Cyr, in Vancouver, BC. She continued to provide treatments throughout her many travels across the country.

Amanda later expanded her studies with the Wild Rose College in Calgary, AB, where she studied an assortment of courses including Herbology, Nutrition, Traditional Chinese Medicine, Traditional Ayurvedic Medicine, Applied Kinesiology, Raindrop Therapy Massage, Hot Stone Massage, Reflexology, Ear Candling and more. At the age of 20 she moved to Quebec and completed her Reiki Master program with Reiki Master, Lise Frédette. She later completed diplomas through the Wild Rose College in Wholistic Therapies, Practical Herbology, Master Herbology and finally Clinical Herbology at the age of 22, after having studied under Doctor of Natural Medicine & Clinical Herbalist, Flo Lavallie, and Master Herbalist Rheanne Haines in Saskatoon, SK. She also teaches a course in beginner Western Astrology and all 4 levels of Reiki.

Amanda is dedicated to offering her clients a complete and relaxing experience while educating them on how to best care for their body, mind and spirit. She places emphasis on emotional wellbeing and offers her clients an experience they don’t soon forget. Her passion is in your health and through the use of various skills and acquired techniques, she creates an individualized experience for everyone.

Amanda is now residing in her hometown of Saskatoon, SK, and owns her own practice, Balancing Elements Health Clinic, located upstairs of Sangster’s Organic Market in the heart of downtown Saskatoon.
